Versle is a playful twist on the popular Wordle concept, but it’s all about guessing the daily Bible verse reference in just five tries. If you want a fun way to refresh your Scripture memory every day without feeling guilty about gaming, then Versle is a great choice. It shows you color-coded hints: green means you nailed either the correct book, chapter, or verse number, and yellow means you’re close, but you need to shuffle your numbers around a bit.
You will love how Versle will test your memory: you might expect only super-familiar verses like John 3:16, but the game often slips in more challenging references that make you say, “Hmm, is that in Isaiah or 2 Corinthians?” With the free version, you get one verse a day, which is enough to make you keep coming back. For the real overachievers, there’s a paid option to unlock up to five daily rounds, plus a Scripture Blitz mode that times how quickly you can guess.
There are some hiccups with repeated numbers: sometimes the game highlights both numbers even if only one is correct. In addition, the book picker might accidentally select the wrong book, which has doomed a guess or two of mine. But overall, these minor glitches don’t stop me from opening Versle daily. It’s just too satisfying to see that green pop up when I finally figure out the exact reference!

After you guess, Versle links to the verse in context, and sometimes provides shareable images, perfect for saving on your phone or posting to social media.
